Almost 100 years of the Kool cigarettes history

In 1933‎‎, B&W launched Kool cigarettes, the first U.S. brand of menthol distributed nationwide. Kool cigarettes are mostly sold in the U.S., but have also been sold or are still sold in ‎‎Canada‎‎, ‎‎Hondaras‎‎, ‎‎Antigua‎‎, ‎‎Bahamas‎‎, ‎‎Jamaica‎‎, ‎‎Chile‎‎, ‎‎Colombia‎‎, ‎‎Argentina‎‎, ‎‎Germany‎‎, ‎‎France‎‎, ‎‎Switzerland‎‎, ‎‎Spain‎‎, ‎‎Japan‎‎, and ‎‎Australia‎‎. The Estonian Patent Office has refused permission to use Cole Trademark in ‎‎Estonia‎‎ because the name means “school” ‎‎in Estonian‎‎.‎

‎Current variations‎ of Kool cigarettes. Kool cigarettes are available in the following styles:‎ Green – Filter Kings and Super Longs [formerly Full]‎, Blue – Filter Kings & Super Longs (100’s) [Formerly Milds]‎.

‎The old pack of Kool cigarettes began with the “William” penguin character, which was like a few different, among which there was a doctor, a soldier. In the early 1950s, the company placed a number of distinctive signs on the front doors with the inscription “Enter … it’s Cole inside,” pointing out that the space is air-conditioned.‎

‎In the early 1960s, the cartoon penguin image was no longer used, and the manufacturer of Kool cigarettes instead began marketing his nets, linking the country to the fresh, relaxingly cool taste of menthol to cool the outdoor scenes by fitting water or snow. Former Kool models include Steve Tyler.‎ In 1971, Kool initiated an advertising campaign where consumers could mail an order for a ‎‎Snark sail‎‎ with the Kool cigarettes logo on the sail – for $88 (later $99) along with one Kool cardboard flip – including veri. Sailing boats were sold at that time for $ 120. As one of Kool’s most ads, the company received over 18,000 orders for “Sea Snarks” in 1971.‎

‎During the 1970s and 1980s, the manufacturer of Kool cigarettes sponsored festivals and many advertisements for an era or actor playing the saxophone. Also, Kool cigarettes were targeted at African Americans, as were many menthol Cyttes. In 1975, Kool cigarettes held a clean-up ‎‎with‎‎ a Rolls-Royce Corniche as a prize.‎
